Smitty's ISO feature....

Smitty has been a good friend of mine and in the car scene ever since I can remember. He takes all his project cars to the limit and his daily driven M45 is no different. I have to say this is currently one of my fav. modded cars hitting the streets here in the DMV.

There are about a handful of cars that I can think of worthy of the real Elite Status.....read the rest of the story here.

Mini Lambo by Liberty Walk

Rihanna feat. Drake "What’s My Name"

Bridle Road Residence "Cape Town, South Africa"

The single-family residence does not look massive or overly grand, but instead exudes a classic elegance with Scandinavian/Japanese lightness, precision and scale. The proportions and division of the walls and windows — including the “picture windows” overlooking the Cape Town harbor — create an openness without the feel of exposure.

Giorgio Armani / Samsung Galaxy S Phone

Once again Giorgio Armani teams up with Samsung to release yet another phone. This time they present the Galaxy S Android operated phone. “The Android-operated Galaxy S features a 5-megapixel camera, multimedia player, push e-mail and 16 gigabytes of memory. The phone will retail at around 700 euros, or about $965 at current exchange, and will be available in Giorgio Armani boutiques and leading mobile retailers in Italy, France, the U.K., Germany, Dubai, China, Hong Kong, Spain, Russia and the Netherlands starting from December.” Via WWD. The branding is kept to a minimum and this might be in terms of functionality one of the very first interesting fashion phones.

Beat Poet / 22designstudio Concrete Rings

Beat Poet teams up with 22designstudio of Taiwan to develop this new series of concrete rings, based on the brutalist ideas of architects such as Louis Kahn and Tadao Ando. The rings are characterized by simple geometry and an almost exclusive use of concrete, with the form work holes left intact. The concrete, imperfect and raw, like a man-made contribution to the natural environment, ages gracefully in a wabi-sabi manner, making visible the invisible logic of nature. Further information on Beat Poet is offered through the brand’s website.
