Clearly inspired by the Rolex Submariner, A Bathing Ape’s BAPEX TYPE 1 GOLD watch is unveiled for the holiday season. While official specs aren’t offered yet, one can only speculate that the BAPEX will be mechanical and self-winding, with an extreme resistance to the wet weather that is soon to be upon all of North America. Available in a gold metal/blue colorway, more details about the watch and the release date should be available in the coming days. Look for this piece soon through BAPE stores worldwide.
