Thom Browne 2012: Grey Wingtip Brogue with Micro Sole

The Spring/Summer 2012 Grey Wingtip Brogue from American designer Thom Browne sees a departure from his normally monochromatic use of color in footwear. While the upper is a traditional wingtip brogue, the three-piece Micro Soul incorporates an abstract version of Browne’s classic red, white and blue ribbon motif. This particular ribbon tab, featured on the back of the shoe, makes the pair uniquely Thom Browne, while the brogue pattern also incorporates other details such as a premium suede leather upper presented in a distinct shade of grey. The Wingtip Brogue is available currently from oki-ni for £650 GBP (approximately $1,000 USD).
